Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying the sun that has finally come out this afternoon :)

I went on a walk myself today and have added pictures of the canal and TD Place for you to see. It is pretty quiet here downtown! I am now walking with no crutches and no walking boot too! I do have to still take it slow because my ankle will be sore if I step too hard on the ground, or walk up or down a hill, but it is so nice to be able to walk again :)

Tomorrow, write an online journal entry (in google docs or slides) telling me about what you have been doing to keep yourself busy. Have you been playing games? Tried a new hobby? Spending more time with your siblings? Let me know about anything at all :)

I miss you all!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend with your families :) I've enjoyed reading the things that have been sent my way and thought I would share a meal that I made on Saturday:

I made a triple-decker grilled cheese sandwich. I used sour dough bread and cut up mozzarella and cheddar cheese to put on both the top and bottom pieces of the bread. I also cut up zucchini and an Hawaiian pepper to mix in with the cheese. To cook the sandwich, butter and rosemary were placed in the frying pan and the top and bottom bread pieces of the sandwich were put in the frying pan once the butter had melted.

The middle piece of bread went in the toaster oven so that it would be crunchy too. Once that was done toasting, I put it on top of the melting cheese of one of the pieces of bread in the frying pan. Then, I flipped that piece over onto the melting cheese of the other piece of bread in the frying pan. Once both sides of the sandwich were a golden colour, and all the cheese had been melted on both layers of the sandwich, I took it off to frying pan to enjoy.

I also had my favourite vegetable, as you all know, a cucumber as a side. The finishing touch was a berry smoothie made with frozen berries, yogurt, almond milk, and coconut pieces. The sandwich was delicious, but I can't eat it too often because it has so much cheese in it!

My task for you tomorrow is to go for a walk with your mom, dad, brother, or sister. It is supposed to be nicer weather tomorrow and the fresh air feels so good right now! While you are out, pay attention to the nature or other things around you. Let me know 5 things that you noticed while you are on your walk. Remember to stay 2 meters away from any people that you cross paths with along your walk. If you're unsure how far away 2 meters is, measure it out at home first, so you have an idea of how much distance that is. Stay safe and enjoy your walk :)

Here is my sandwich and the completed Archie puzzle:

Hello everyone,

Thanks to those who sent me a write-up of your virtual field trip! I really enjoyed hearing from you and learning about what you found most interesting on your 'trip.'

This weekend, I hope you enjoy the time with your family and I'd like to ask you to join them in making a lunch or a dinner together. On Monday, let me know what you made and the different roles you played in putting it together.

I look forward to hearing from you again :)

Happy Thursday everyone! Just a reminder that I will be adding comments to any work that you send to me :)

I hope you are using this time to spend it with you family and to explore new hobbies! I have taken up working on puzzles and my cats are extremely happy that I am home 24/7. I got my hands on an Archie comics puzzle. Stay safe everyone and I'll be in touch again tomorrow.

For Thursday, March 26th, your task is to choose a virtual field trip to go on. Explore the links offered to you and choose which place you would like to visit the most. Then, I would like you to explore and write about what you discovered in a Google Doc. Why did you choose the virtual field trip that you chose? Did you learn something new? What was the most interesting thing you saw? Tell me anything at all! I cant wait to hear from you :)

Hello everyone,

I will be adding daily content Monday-Friday on this blog for students to access from home. You can submit assignments to me through your student email and I will send feedback for you to still keep in touch with me.

For those who received the math package before the school closed, please work on that over the course of the next two weeks and further tasks will be extra things to work on at home.

I hope you are all doing well and I can't wait to see you all again :)
