Hi everyone,

It was nice to see about half of you on our Google Hangout yesterday. I have enjoyed teaching all of you and was so happy that I got to teach some of you twice (or even 3 times)! I always looked forward to our time together and am proud of each and every one of you for pushing yourself during this school year. We got through it together and I wish you all the best as you move into Grade 5 :)

I have received a couple requests to send the math worksheets for the math unit we did not get a chance to cover this school year (measurement: volume, mass, and capacity). I will be sending those out today. If you would still like to ask for them, send me an email and I will send them your way.

I am working on our class yearbook today. Tomorrow, you will be able to flip through it and see all the pictures I've inserted and you can enjoy the pages that (almost) everyone in the class made. You can look through it, but no longer edit it. Send me an email if you need me to resend the access code to you.

I had a request to do more Google Hangouts during the summer. With people settling into holiday-mode, I do not think this is possible. I will offer the option to do one last call on Wednesday, July 8th at 11AM. Some of you had come up with some really fun game ideas that we did not have time to do yesterday. I will send out the invitation and see how many people accept it. Mark it on your calendars!

Take care everyone and:

Love you all,

Hi everyone,

Tomorrow is our final Google Hangout call at 11AM. Our only recommended theme was a PJ picnic party. So join the call in your PJ's and if you are able to go into your backyard, you can do the call from there. If not, just stay inside (I will have to do this).

We have 5 games to play. I did have a Netflix party suggested, and unfortunately, I am not going to be able to do this because not everyone will be abe to join in on this. It would have been fun though! It reminds me of the snow day when...I think 10 of you were there..? We watched that funny baking show and had a lot of fun together :)

Anyway, I will see you tomorrow and I am looking forward to the fun games we will be playing :)

Hi everyone,

I have posted our last math unit on Hapara. It is an algebra unit. We were almost able to cover every math topic for grade 4. The only one that we did not get to was a measurement unit on mass, capacity, and volume. Let me know if you would like me to send any work associated with that topic to you. I will be able to do that on Thursday.

I did not post a Language task this week because I have posted enough math work to cover 5 days, even though we only have 4 days of school left.

I will be working on the Book Creator yearbook this week and will let you know when I have added my pictures into it :)

As always, feel free to send me an email if you have any questions about anything!

It was nice seeing some of you on the Google Hangout this morning. Don't forget that we have our last on one Wednesday at 11AM! See you then :)

Hi everyone,

For those who joined, it was a fun Google Hangout this morning! Pictionary went well and it was nice to read together, as we would usually be doing every day :)

For those who did not join, I shared some news with the class this morning. I will not be returning to St. Gabriel for the next school year. I am going to be at a different school and I will miss you all very much :(

Next week, we will have 2 Google Hangouts to finish off our school year (and to get to finish our book). We will have the first one Monday morning at 11am and the last one on Wednesday at 11am. Keep sending me your ideas for what we could play on the Hangout. Someone suggested we have a party, so send me some ideas about how we could make that work :)

Have a great rest of your day!

Hello everyone,

I sent an email to everyone letting you know that our Google Hangout for today is cancelled so you can go to the school with your parents to get your belongings. I have rescheduled the meeting for tomorrow (Thursday) at 10:30am. The new invitation was sent to your student email. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you then :)

I will be volunteering at the school to help guide people move through the school safely. Here is what the Junior hallway looked like yesterday:

See you tomorrow on our call!

Good morning everyone,

I have posted your Language task for the week in your Hapara Language folder. If you do not see it in there, go to Google Docs and it should be one of the last things opened for you. It is titled "Persuasive Writing-Game Idea." If you still do not see it, email me and I will forward it to you.

I have tasked you with choosing a game we could play on our last Google Hangout next week. I'd like you to explain to me how it works and persuade me why I should choose your game. Since there will be many ideas, we will be limited with how many we can actually play. So put in your best effort to convince me why yours should make the list!

Happy game creating :)

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope you had a nice weekend with your family and that you enjoyed the nice, but not so boiling hot, weather!

I have posted the second-half of the 'More Complex Multiplication and Division' math unit on Hapara. I will be posting a Language activity in Hapara tomorrow. So work on some math today and then keep an eye out for Language tomorrow.

Please reach out to me if you have any questions about the math work! I am happy to help you out if you are stuck!

Take care,

Mrs. Zani
